Coaches

Elaine Dagg-Jackson

Chartered Professional Coach

A Level 5 Coach, Elaine has coached at the national and international level for many years. Her coaching achievements include: 2 Scott Tournament of Hearts Championship titles - with Kelly Law in 2000 and Julie Sutton in 1991; 2 Scott silver medals; the 2001 World Championship gold medal; coaching at the Brier many appearances at the world curling championships and the world junior championships coaching for Canada, Korea and Japan, and two Olympic games.

As a member of the Canadian Curling Association National Coaching Program, Provincial Development Coach for Curl BC, and National Coach for Japan Women, she remains active in coaching and instructing curlers of all levels.

Jock Tyre

A level 3 certified coach, Jock is a renowned instructor and coach who brings skill and expertise to this camp. He has coached at numerous World Curling Federation Camps, Canadian Championships, National Championships, Canada Games and World Championships. He is a member of the Canadian Curling Association coach consultant team.

Melissa Soligo

Melissa is a Level 5 Professional Coach with a wealth of experience on both sides of the glass. With 3 Scottie appearances, a Canadian championship and a World Silver Medal she was a great curling athlete before turning to coaching. Now as Provincial Coach for BC, National Coach for the Canadian Junior Women she has established herself as one of Canada's most experienced coaches.

Bill Tschirhart

Bill was the National Development Coach at the Canadian Curling Association National Training Centre in Calgary from 1999 – 2006. He has delivered camps, courses and coached teams all over the world including Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Korea, Scotland and of course Canada. He is a consultant coach to many athetes and teams and currently coaches the two-time Canadian Senior Women's Champions.

Bill is an inspiring speaker and one of the most experienced curling coaches in the world.
